Certified Cloud Computing Specialist
A Certified Cloud Computing Specialist has demonstrated proficiency with contemporary cloud computing platforms and technologies, as well as the skills required to apply common patterns and practices for the design and deployment of modern cloud-based solutions.

To be considered an expert in this field requires comprehensive knowledge of established frameworks and industry technologies in addition to upcoming innovations. The range of areas of specialization include security, infrastructure and governance of cloud-based services, solutions, and entire computing platforms.

Certified Cloud Computing Specialists understand how and to what extent cloud computing technologies should be used and leveraged in support of strategic business goals and practical IT requirements. Defining strategies for the involvement of private, public or community cloud environments demands a depth of knowledge to properly assess and the incorporate cloud-based services so that targeted and effective cloud and hybrid architectures and ecosystems can be designed and implemented and evolved over time in response to changing requirements.

Finally, the Certified Cloud Computing Specialist has a clear understanding of the connection points between cloud-based technology and service-oriented computing platforms. With the ability to properly position and apply service-orientation in support of cloud-based service technologies, service-oriented solutions can be designed to fully, appropriately and reliably leverage mature cloud computing innovations.

To achieve this certification, the following exams must be completed with a passing grade:

• Exam S90.24: Fundamental Cloud Computing
• Exam S90.25: Advanced Cloud Computing
• Exam S90.26: Cloud Computing Lab

Note that all certification requirements and course contents are reviewed and revised quarterly to stay in alignment with industry developments.
